Audience Reactions: Mixed but Engaged
Early social media reactions are divided. Some viewers felt the first half was stretched and overloaded with songs, making parts of the narrative predictable. “First half totally wasted by stretching what should have been 20-30 minutes. Only one major action sequence before the interval,” wrote one user. Others noted that Sonam Bajwa and Shreyas Talpade were underutilized.
Tiger Shroff’s high-energy performance and action sequences have drawn widespread acclaim. Fans and critics appreciated his emotional depth and on-screen presence. “Tiger Shroff delivers his best performance with strong emotions. Sanjay Dutt is outstanding as the negative character intense, powerful, and unforgettable,” shared one reviewer. Another described the film as “India’s only barbaric & ruthless intense action thriller.” Overall, early consensus positions Baaghi 4 as a one-time watch entertainer, with Tiger’s stunts and Dutt’s villainy driving audience engagement, despite some pacing issues in the story.
Advance Ticket Sales and Early Collections
Ahead of its official release on September 5, Baaghi 4 has shown strong advance bookings. Industry tracker Sacnilk reports that over 2.23 lakh tickets across nearly 9,900 shows have been sold, generating around ₹5.54 crore in advance collections. Including blocked seats, the opening day could touch ₹8.47 crore (Sacnilk).
Other reports suggest even higher numbers. The Times of India estimates advance bookings at about ₹7 crore, while Livemint notes that more than 1.4 lakh tickets were sold within the first 48 hours of booking, indicating strong audience interest.
Morning Occupancy and Real-Time Collection
Initial theater data shows a 22.16% morning occupancy across Indian cinemas, marking one of the best openings for a Bollywood release in 2025 (Koimoi). Real-time collection data from Sacnilk reports a net first-day collection of approximately ₹4.04 crore by 2 PM, though numbers are expected to rise as the day progresses.
Baaghi 4 vs Baaghi 3 and Baaghi 2
Looking at the franchise trend, Baaghi 3 opened with a first-day collection of around ₹5.50 crore net, while Baaghi 2 had collected roughly ₹4.10 crore on its debut. In this context, Baaghi 4’s early occupancy and collections indicate a performance in line with or slightly better than its predecessors, driven by Tiger Shroff’s star power, action-packed sequences, and the addition of high-profile actors like Sanjay Dutt. Analysts suggest that the festive season release will further bolster collections over the weekend.
Opening Weekend and First-Week Projections
Based on current trends, industry experts project that Baaghi 4 could net around ₹15–18 crore over the opening weekend. The momentum from positive word-of-mouth, especially around Tiger Shroff’s action sequences, is expected to keep audiences engaged through the first week. If occupancy rates remain consistent or rise, the first-week collections could reach ₹25–28 crore, making it one of the stronger domestic openings for a 2025 Bollywood release. Analysts also note that overseas markets could contribute an additional ₹5–6 crore, pushing the worldwide total to ₹30–34 crore by the end of the first week.
