Veteran Bollywood actor Dharmendra, aged 89, has been discharged from Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai, where he had been undergoing treatment for the past several days. The doctors confirmed on Wednesday that the actor has now been taken home by his family, including sons Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol, who have been closely monitoring his health.
Dharmendra Family Decides for Home-Based Care
According to Dr. Pratit Samdani, who has been supervising Dharmendra’s medical care, the decision was made to continue treatment at home. “Dharmendra ji was discharged from the hospital around 7.30 am. He will be treated at home as the family has decided to give him treatment at home,” said Dr. Samdani while speaking to PTI.

The legendary actor, who has been in and out of the hospital for several weeks, was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital recently due to health complications. His family ensured he received the best medical attention and have now shifted him home for continued care and comfort.

Soon after the discharge, several videos showing an ambulance arriving and leaving Dharmendra’s Mumbai residence began circulating on social media, sparking concern among fans. However, sources confirmed that his condition is stable and he is expected to continue recovery under medical supervision at home.
The actor, fondly known as the “He-Man of Bollywood,” has a massive fan base who have been sending prayers and well-wishes for his speedy recovery.
