Son Of Sardaar 2 box office collection day 5: Ajay Devgn won over the crowds with his sense of humor in the 2012 release Son of Sardaar, which turned out to be a box office hit, making ₹150 crore across the globe on a budget of ₹40 crore. But the sequel seems to have lost out on getting massive crowds to the theatres. As per Sacnilk, Son of Sardaar 2 has made ₹29.46 crore in five days.
Declining Daily Earnings Despite Star Power
The trade tracking website reported that the movie experienced a fall in collections on its opening Monday, raking in just ₹2.35 crore. On its opening Tuesday, the movie’s fifth day, things did not change for better, and it raked in just ₹2.36 crore. The total domestic collection of the movie now stands at ₹29.46 crore. Globally, on the earnings front, the movie has raked in ₹37.75 crore.

Son of Sardaar 2 is also competing hard with Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda’s Saiyaara, which has completed its third week and is still going as well at the box office. The movie collected ₹2.32 crore on Tuesday its 18th day, and its total domestic collection now stands at ₹304.42 crore.
Film Details and Cast
Written and directed by Vijay Kumar Arora and produced jointly by Ajay Devgn, Jyoti Deshpande, N.R. Pachisia, and Pravin Talreja, the film finds Ajay once again playing Jassi, who now fakes himself out to be a war hero to facilitate a couple’s marriage with parental approval. The movie also features Mrunal Thakur, Ravi Kishan, Roshni Walia, Kubbra Sait, Deepak Dobriyal, Neetu Bajwa and Sanjay Mishra in important roles.

The movie had mixed reactions upon release. While Ajay’s acting was liked, everyone was more amazed with Ravi Kishan, Sanjay Mishra, and Deepak Dobriyal’s timing for comedy.
