Antilia to Girgaon Chowpatty: A Grand Visarjan Procession
The Ambani family celebrated the bidding adieu of Antilia Cha Raja on August 28 with a colorful visarjan procession that started from their home, Antilia, and ended at Girgaon Chowpatty in Mumbai. Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani were spotted sending off Lord Ganesha with beaming smiles, making the process an emotional and wonderful affair.
Radhika Merchant, Anant Ambani, and the Pahariya Brothers Bring Energy
Though the sendoff was heartbreaking, it had also a cheerful festive atmosphere. Radhika Merchant was seen celebrating the rally in high spirits, sitting in a tempo and chanting actively “Ganpati Bappa Morya” and “Har Har Mahadeo.” Her fiance, Anant Ambani, was seen marching along with the procession, escorted by security personnel, yet getting lost in the festive crowds.
They were joined by Shikhar and Veer Pahariya, who contributed to the vibrant festivities. Shikhar looked engaged in organizing the arrangements on the truck, whereas Veer with red gulaal smeared over his face was photographed hurling flowers over the jubilant crowd. Videos from the evening soon went viral, with the young gang letting their hair down and propagating festive cheer.
A Star-Studded Ganesh Farewell
Adding to the glamour, Bollywood star couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh were also seen taking blessings of Antilia Cha Raja prior to immersion. Their appearance added further to the festive atmosphere despite this year’s festivities at Antilia remaining relatively subdued compared to the previous years, which had witnessed several celebrities and political personalities present.

A Celebration of Faith and Togetherness
What was impressive was not only the opulence of the procession but also the blend of tradition and youthfulness. The visarjan rally accentuated the Ambani clan’s strong devotion but also showed the happy involvement of friends and close groups. To many observers, the dousing of Antilia Cha Raja became more than a ritual it was a display of faith, love, and communalism.
As Mumbai said goodbye to one of its most chattering Ganesh idols, the Ambani family once again demonstrated how religiosity and revelry can combine to deliver memories that won’t be forgotten.
