Bollywood singer and composer Mika Singh has canceled his show in cities across India, including the capital, Delhi. The preparation of any big public event, particularly those with a high-profile artist, has to be in close coordination with the local police and security agencies.

Red Fort Blast: Mika Singh show called off

Even a perceived threat to security or any past incident happening in a prominent location like the Red Fort has the potential to change plans for an event on very short notice. Canceling a concert for performers like Mika Singh is never an easy call, but it becomes an inevitable decision if such advice is given by the authorities regarding any particular risk.

The primary concern is to avoid chaos, injury, or any sort of attack. This state of high alert often finds expression in manpower being dispatched to guard the key government buildings and national monuments, thus leaving relatively lower resources to secure big private concerts.

The three-day Kirtan Darbar event, which is scheduled to be held at the Red Fort from November 23-25, 2025, has not been postponed. It is still going to happen, which was announced by the Delhi government to mark the 350th martyrdom anniversary of Guru Tegh Bahadur.

Bollywood Events Rescheduled After Red Fort Blast

Dhurandhar (Trailer Launch Postponed)

The grand trailer launch for the Ranveer Singh-starrer Dhurandhar, set to take place in Mumbai on November 12, has been postponed.

The makers decided to push the date, as the incident of the car explosion near Red Fort Metro Station on November 10, 2025, killed many people.

Therefore, the team decided that owing to public grief and the sensitivity of the situation, the launch event should be postponed.

Cocktail 2 (Delhi Shoot Delayed)

The much-awaited shooting schedule of Cocktail 2, featuring Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, and Rashmika Mandanna, has been deferred for the time being.

Filming was supposed to start on November 12th in different locations of Delhi, but the schedule was pushed back due to twin concerns.

The increased security threat after the recent blast near Red Fort, juxtaposed with the alarming rise in air pollution levels in the capital, persuaded the makers to postpone the seven-day shoot. The production team now hopes to resume the shoot in December.
