The Indian animated classic Mahavatar Narsimha is having a dream run at the box office following its release on 25 July. The Lord Narsimha mythology-based film in 15 days has generated ₹150 crore globally, said the producers. It even surpassed the record of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse and Hanuman to emerge as India’s highest-grossing animated movie.

Mahavatar Narsimha opened to standing ovations from the public and the critics. Following a 2-week hit run, it still showed a ₹4.7 crore Hindi collection on Friday, reaching its Hindi net of ₹84.44 crore. The holiday weekend helped the film go on collecting the moolah.
