As Kriti Sanon turned a year older on Sunday, several Bollywood celebrities sent her heartfelt wishes. Kareena Kapoor Khan took to Instagram Stories to post a lovely photo of Kriti along with the message: "Happy birthday @kritisanon ... wish you the bestest always, lots of love." Her 'Bhediya' co-star, Varun Dhawan, also shared a picture of them together, adding a playful note: "Happy Birthday To My Favourite Tall Person."
Born on July 27, Kriti Sanon has made a name for herself with her roles in several hit films like Shehzada, Adipurush, Ganapath, Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, Crew, and Do Patti. She is reportedly in talks to star alongside Shahid Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna in Cocktail 2, a sequel to the 2012 film Cocktail, directed by Homi Adajania and originally starring Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone, and Diana Penty.
Kriti has recently wrapped up filming for Tere Ishk Mein, directed by Aanand L Rai and starring Dhanush in the lead role. This film is described as a spiritual sequel to Raanjhanaa and is set for theatrical release on November 28, 2025.
The wrap was confirmed by the production house through an Instagram post showing two bloodied hands clasped together. The film is written by Rai’s frequent collaborator, Himanshu Sharma, and features music by AR Rahman with lyrics by Irshad Kamil.
Tere Ishk Mein is being produced under the banners of Gulshan Kumar, T-Series, and Colour Yellow Productions, with producers including Aanand L Rai, Himanshu Sharma, Bhushan Kumar, and Krishan Kumar.
