Bollywood star Kartik Aaryan recently marked two special occasions completing the shoot of his upcoming film Tu Meri Main Tera, Main Tera Tu Meri and bidding a heartfelt farewell to Lord Ganesha during Ganesh Visarjan. The actor combined tradition with personal warmth by performing the eco-friendly immersion ceremony alongside his family and his adorable pet dog, Katori, at his Mumbai residence.
Instead of visiting crowded immersion sites, Kartik chose to perform the Ganpati Visarjan in a sustainable way within his building premises. Accompanied by his mother, Mala Tiwari, and Katori, the actor shared moments of the ceremony on Instagram. The post featured touching snapshots and videos where Kartik performed aarti and shared an adorable interaction with his pet receiving “prayers” with its tiny paws. His caption read, “Ganpati Bappa Moryaa. Miss you,” which touched fans, many of whom responded with heart emojis and blessings for continued success.
At the same time, Kartik Aaryan also celebrated the wrap of his film’s shoot. He shared behind-the-scenes glimpses showing candid moments of cake cutting, dancing, and warm hugs with co-star Ananya Panday and the entire crew. He expressed gratitude to the director Sameer Vidwans and producers including Karan Johar and Adar Poonawalla, calling the journey a “fun-filled roller-coaster ride.”
Tu Meri Main Tera, Main Tera Tu Meri is directed by Sameer Vidwans and produced by Dharma Productions and Namah Pictures. The film promises a mix of romance, laughter, and emotional moments, starring Kartik as Ray and Ananya as Rumi. It is scheduled for theatrical release on February 13, 2026, just in time for Valentine’s Day.
Alongside his current film, Kartik is also gearing up to shoot the final leg of an untitled romantic drama directed by Anurag Basu, slated for release in April 2026. According to industry sources, the team will begin a 45-day non-stop shooting schedule post-Ganesh Chaturthi, aiming to complete filming by Diwali and move into post-production thereafter. This aligns the release with the summer holiday window, promising a major cinematic release next year.
Kartik’s thoughtful approach to celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi integrating eco-conscious practices and involving his pet resonated widely with fans and followers. His personal and humble way of marking both the festival and his film wrap-up stood out amid the usual celebrity extravagance, giving his audience a glimpse of the genuine and grounded side of the star.
