Govinda and his wife, Sunita Ahuja, have come into the media spotlight once again amid their divorce speculations. The couple was captured outside their residence while celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi.

Videos of the two welcoming Lord Ganesh to their home circulated online on Thursday, with the two sharing smiles with the paparazzi while chanting the lord’s name. Their son Yashvardhan Ahuja was also captured, joining the moment with the family.

Govinda and Sunita Ahuja’s Divorce Rumours
In a statement given to PTI, Govinda’s manager, Shashi Sinha, cleared the air on his divorce. She dismissed the speculations, calling them baseless and misleading. She shared that Sunita Ahuja had filed for a divorce on 5th December 2024 at Bandra Family Court on the grounds of cruelty, desertion, and adultery. He further mentioned that the matter has since been reviewed internally, and the case is not being actively pursued.
“This is old news that surfaced six to seven months ago…Now everything is getting settled. In a week or so, there will be some clarity. The whole family is preparing to celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi together, and Sunita is actively involved in the arrangements,” Sinha told PTI.

Govinda and Sunita Ahuja’s Maintain Silence on Divorce
Despite his manager talking to the media about his divorce, Govinda and his wife Sunita have decided to stay tight-lipped about this situation. The couple is seemingly trying to maintain their privacy and solve their conflicts internally. Govinda’s legal team has also dismissed their divorce rumours, saying that there are no new developments in the case and the couple is resolving their issues internally.
Govinda and Sunita’s divorce speculations have become a topic of discussion on social media, with fans sharing their thoughts on the situation and actively looking for new updates. However, despite all this, Govinda’s team has stood firm in their statement that the case has gone dormant and a divorce is not on the cards.
