Actor Celina Jaitly has filed a legal case against her husband Peter Haag, accusing him of domestic violence, emotional cruelty, manipulation, and financial misconduct. She has demanded ₹50 crore as compensation for the alleged harm. The complaint has been submitted to the Judicial Magistrate First Class at Andheri Court in Mumbai.
Amid the controversy, Celina has posted a heartfelt message on social media, saying that even though she feels as if she is standing alone in a turbulent phase, she will not step back and is determined to fight for her rights.
On Thursday, Celina shared a detailed note on X addressing the case and her personal struggles. She expressed that she never imagined she would be facing such a difficult period without the support of her family. She said she had once believed the pillars of her life her parents, brother, children, and the person who had promised lifelong support would always stand by her. However, she now finds herself facing the storm on her own.
Celina said in her note that life had taken away the people she trusted deeply. She explained that those she believed in walked away silently, and the promises she once relied on were broken. However, she added that the storm did not defeat her; instead, it pushed her toward strength and self-discovery. She mentioned that this difficult phase forced her to meet the resilient woman inside her who “refuses to die.”
Celina further shared that being a soldier’s daughter taught her values like courage, discipline, grit, and resilience. She said she had been raised to get up even when the world wants her to fall, to continue fighting despite heartbreak, and to show no mercy when she has been wronged. According to her, these lessons helped her survive moments that felt impossible to endure.
The actor stated that her biggest priorities are protecting her children, standing up for her soldier brother, and safeguarding her dignity. She expressed deep gratitude toward her legal team, saying that Karanjawala & Co became her shield when she needed strong support the most. Celina said the firm's understanding and protection gave her the strength to continue her fight.
