Actress Elnaaz Norouzi, who is widely recognised for her roles in Sacred Games, Made in Heaven, and most recently, the reality show The Traitors, celebrated her birthday on July 9 in a rather intimate and simple manner—very different from her usual extravagant parties.
Currently in London, Elnaaz is busy shooting for the upcoming comedy film Masti 4. She chose to spend her birthday doing what she’s most passionate about—acting. Even though she was far from home, the celebration was filled with warmth and joy as she marked the occasion with her co-stars and crew.
The actress gave her fans a sneak peek of her birthday through an Instagram post, where she was seen cutting a small cake at a cosy London restaurant. Styled fashionably as always, Elnaaz looked radiant while enjoying the close-knit celebration.
Reflecting on her quiet birthday, she wrote, “I’m so used to celebrating my birthdays big that I didn’t realise it has its own charm to sometimes take it easy too… I couldn’t have wished for a better birthday, though… I am in the middle of a filming schedule, doing what I love the most, and surrounded by amazing people. You all make it worthwhile."
She also extended her gratitude to fans for their birthday wishes and love.
Director Milap Zaveri, who is helming Masti 4, also posted a heartfelt message along with a group photo from the celebration. The picture featured Elnaaz with co-stars Riteish Deshmukh, Genelia D’Souza, Vivek Oberoi, and Shreya Sharma.
Zaveri captioned it, “Happy birthday, @iamelnaaz. This was an impromptu celebration with the #Mastiii4 team, friends, and family, but the best things in life are usually unplanned! Wishing you a wonderful day and a fabulous year!"
Elnaaz, who is of Iranian-German origin, has built a strong presence in Indian entertainment. She became a household name for her role as Zoya Mirza in Sacred Games, and later took her talent global with her Hollywood debut in Kandahar, starring alongside Gerard Butler under the direction of Ric Roman Waugh.
She was also a part of the recently concluded reality show The Traitors, hosted by Karan Johar. Elnaaz competed with a star-studded lineup including Karan Kundrra, Jasmine Bhasin, Raftaar, Raj Kundra, Uorfi Javed, Jannat Zubair, and many others. In the finale, Nikita Luther and Uorfi Javed won and shared the prize money of ₹70 lakh.
Masti 4, the newest film in the popular Masti comedy series, promises to deliver another round of wild humour and fun. Directed by Milap Zaveri and produced by Indra Kumar, the movie brings back the beloved characters Amar, Meet, and Prem, played by Riteish Deshmukh, Vivek Oberoi, and Aftab Shivdasani.
With its signature cheeky humour and comic chaos, the film is expected to live up to its name. The original Masti movie was released in 2004, and since then, the franchise has gained a loyal fanbase. With Elnaaz Norouzi joining the cast, fans are eager to see what new energy she brings to the series.
