New York Fashion Week is known for its bold and daring fashion statements, and this season, Bollywood actress Disha Patani made sure to stand out. She attended Calvin Klein’s Spring 2026 show, directed by creative head Veronica Leoni, and immediately caught everyone’s attention with her elegant yet bold style. Even in a star-studded event attended by global icons like BTS’ Jungkook, Emily Ratajkowski, and Lily Collins, Disha managed to grab the spotlight effortlessly.
Disha’s Bold Yet Elegant Look
Disha ditched her usual casual, sporty looks and opted for a more glamorous appearance. She wore a sleek black slip dress made of satin-like fabric that looked both classy and sensual. The dress featured thin spaghetti straps, a deep neckline, and a form-fitting design that highlighted her figure perfectly.
While the front of the dress stayed simple and elegant, the back was where all the drama happened. It had a daring low-cut design with intricate crisscross patterns that added extra charm. This combination of simplicity and bold details proved why the slip dress remains a timeless fashion statement.
Keeping the focus on the dress, Disha chose minimal accessories. She wore black strappy heels and subtle stud earrings. Her makeup was fresh and dewy, with bronzed tones, softly smoked eyes, and a nude glossy lip, while her hair was styled in relaxed, natural waves. The overall look was a perfect example of “less is more,” creating a stunning and sophisticated appearance without overdoing it.

A Tough Time Before the Glamour
What made Disha’s appearance even more significant was that it marked her first public outing after a serious incident near her family home in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh. Earlier, reports revealed that unknown people had fired several shots near her house, including two rounds of aerial firing, in the early morning.
Thankfully, no one was hurt. The police later connected the attack to Virendra and Mahendra Dhelana, who admitted their involvement on social media. Their motive appeared to be linked to controversial comments made by Disha’s sister, Khushboo Patani, about spiritual preacher Aniruddhacharya Maharaj.
Despite the disturbing situation back home, Disha displayed immense poise and confidence on the New York stage, proving her resilience in the face of adversity.
