Dharmendra Singh Deol, popularly known as Bollywood's "He-Man," remains one of the most admired and respected figures in Indian cinema. Dharmendra has appeared in over 300 films within his career spanning over six decades, thus leaving behind an unmatched legacy of versatility, charm, and strength on screen.
The 89-year-old veteran actor has been admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai, which has raised concern among his fans and colleagues.
Dharmendra was born on December 8, 1935, in Phagwara, Punjab and brought up in Sahnewal, near Ludhiana. The son of a school headmaster, Dharmendra was hooked onto films since his childhood.
He made his debut with Dil Bhi Tera Hum Bhi Tere (1960) and soon rose to become one of the most popular romantic and action heroes. With rugged good looks and immense natural charm, Dharmendra became one of the most bankable stars of the 1960s and 70s, with classics such as Sholay, Satyakam, Phool Aur Patthar and Yaadon Ki Baaraat.

Dharmendra is married to actress and politician Hema Malini, one of Bollywood's most celebrated female stars. The two fell in love during the 1970s while working together on films like Seeta Aur Geeta and Sholay.

Dharmendra's estimated net worth is Rs. 335 crore - Rs. 450 crore, which is around $60 million. His income sources include acting, film production, endorsements and real estate investments. The actor owns a luxurious farmhouse in Lonavala and multiple properties in Mumbai.
Dharmendra and Hema Malini have a combined net worth of over Rs. 500 crore. Recent reports confirm that Dharmendra has been admitted to Breach Candy Hospital for observation following health complications. His son Sunny Deol's team clarified that he is not on a ventilator and is recovering steadily.
