The heavy rainfalls in Mumbai have forced the postponement of one of the biggest events of the season: Bigg Boss 19 media tour. The tour was scheduled for Tuesday. Due to waterlogging across the city, the media tour had to be cancelled.
The PR team issued a statement: “Due to heavy rains and waterlogging in the city, the Bigg Boss house tour and related activities have been put on hold for now. We regret the inconvenience. We will keep you informed on further developments, depending on the situation with the rains.”

Travel Plans of Journalists Disrupted
The organizers quickly took measures to avoid inconvenience to outstation journalists. Those coming from Delhi, timely deboarded, while those who had already reached Mumbai were asked to return amid flight delays and cancellations. The organizers are now planning a fresh date for the media preview.
Film and Television Shoots Continue
Despite the postponement of Bigg Boss 19, most film and television shoots are continued in Mumbai. India Today reported from independent sources that the production is proceeding with all the safety measures. Film stars, cast and crew members are navigating through the water to keep up with their work schedule.
Bigg Boss 19 is set to premiere on August 24, 2025 on JioHotstar and COLORS at 10:30 pm.
