His initial marriage was with Geetanjali, with whom he had a son named Rahul Khanna and a son named Akshaye Khanna. After separating from Geetanjali, Vinod married Kavita Khanna. With Kavita, he has a daughter named Shraddha Khanna. Kavita, a London School of Economics law graduate, has been involved in various social and political activities.
Shraddha Khanna is Akshaye’s half-sister from his father’s second marriage. Though she prefers to remain low-key and avoid the limelight, she stays associated with her family’s charitable side through her mother’s endeavors.

Vinod Khanna was brought up in a family composed of father Kishanchand Khanna and mother Kamla Khanna. Kamla Devi Khanna was born in 1926 in Peshawar, but she later moved to India, where she brought up all her sons. This greatly influenced Vinod’s down-to-earth nature.
His brother, Pramod Khanna, has also been recognized for being a producer as well as being associated with the Indian Rugby Football Union. His wife, Jaishri Verman, has been a part of this family since their union in 1973.
Pramod Khanna has a son named Karan Khanna, who is also a model and an actor. His present profession has him involved in theatrical performances.
