Early Dinner and Proper Sleep

At the book launch of ‘Your Body Already Knows’, Akshay revealed that he finishes his dinner by 6:30 PM and follows an early-to-bed, early-to-rise routine, sleeping at around 9 pm.

The actor believes rest is as important as workouts, since muscles repair and grow during sleep. He wakes up at 5:30 AM.

Fasting Every Monday

Akshay reportedly follows ‘weekly fasting’ as a part of his fitness routine. He fasts on every Monday, allowing his body to cleanse from within. He eats his last meal on Sunday evening, then fasts for the entire Monday until Tuesday morning. 

This practice allows the body to detoxify, enhances sleep,  and boosts metabolism. It also sharpens focus and concentration, making it a key practice for improving physical and mental health. 

Martial Arts as Key Workout
