In his latest question and answer session on X (formerly Twitter), Shah Rukh Khan clapped back at a troll over statements questioning his success in the industry. Replying to the fan's comment on his looks, the superstar responded with a witty response questioning his intellect, saying "shakal toh theek hai... akal ka nahi bola tumne"
SRK hosted another question and answer session on his X account, a popular series among his dedicated fans, where they have a chance to get their answers directly answered by the man himself.
These sessions often invite wholesome comments from fans along with personal and professional questions from his fans and critics alike. However, along with all the warmth, this is also a moment for internet trolls to slip past all the layers and get through to the actor.
One such comment was made by the user that goes by @the_kwbs on X. During the session, the user commented on SRK's talent for acting and his looks. He then questioned how he achieved success while lacking talent and looks. He compared himself to the Pathaan actor, asking why nobody knows him despite being better looking than SRK.
"Bhai, yeh bata! Tum mein koi talent nahi, na hi tumhari shakal acchi hai, phir bhi tum star kaise ban gaye? Mujhse behtar toh meri shakal hai, par mujhe koi pehchanta tak nahi," wrote @the_kwbs during the latest #AskSRK session.
The global star decided to issue a response to the troll. Replying to the question, SRK accepted the troll's comments on his looks before shifting attention to his intellect. The actor who is popular for his witty responses to trolls kept up the same snarky energy of the question.
"Bhai, shakal toh theek hai... akal ka nahi bola tumne!!! Woh hai ya...???" replied SRK to the user.
Along with the fan admiration and trolling, SRK also addressed fan questions about King, the codename for his upcoming movie with Siddharth Anand.
When a fan account asked the actor for any hint regarding his next character, he was quick to involve Anand in the discussion, asking permission to reveal a key fact about the movie in a humorous tone. Saying, "Hmmmm??? @justSidAnand sun rahe ho bhai. Bol doon…?"
Responding to this, Siddharth Anand issued a cryptic response that reads, "@iamsrk you know what they say sir — a King arrives when he wants to, not when he’s supposed to. #KING"
This prompted SRK to urge fans to direct all their queries regarding King to the mind behind it and asked them to demand the title reveal for the movie at least.
"Fans!!! Go after him….Humla!!! At least the Title Reveal….just that much please," replied Shah Rukh Khan to Siddharth Anand's cryptic response.
Overall, the session was another one of SRK's signature bonding experiences with fans that has kept his connection to the masses alive. Although there was no major reveal regarding King, fans are still hopeful of any update regarding the movie in the days and weeks following this Q and session.
