Baaghi 4 vs The Bengal Files vs The Conjuring: Lat Rites: Last weekend was a short but competitive time at the box office. The pool of new releases was not that deep, with only a handful of major releases. However, the carry forward of films released before last Friday proved to be tough competition.

Which New Movies Were Released Last Friday?

Last Friday saw the release from multiple big-name studios, filmmakers. This included the return of the Baaghi series with the release of Baaghi 4, Vivek Agnihotri's The Bengal Files was also part of last weekend's releases, along with the highly anticipated The Conjuring: Last Rites.

All of the forementioned films are major box office pulls for the audience, offering mind-blowing action, thrilling retelling of true stories, along an intricate horror story, respectively.

Baaghi 4 vs The Bengal Files vs The Conjuring: Last Rites, Who Earned The Most?

After spending three days in theatres, the box office figures for all of the newly released films are here. According to reports shared by Sacnilk, the Tiger Shroff starrer amassed a domestic box office total of ₹31.25 Cr. (12 crore, 9.25 crore, 10 crore earned respectively).

The Bengal Files opened to first-day numbers of ₹1.75 crore. Collections for the film jumped on its second day to ₹2.15 crore, with the early estimates for the third day sitting at ₹2.75 crore. This puts The Bengal Files' first weekend collection numbers at ₹6.65 crore.

Now, to the conclusion of the fan favourite, Horror film franchise, The Conjuring: Last Rites. Directed by Michael Chaves, the Hollywood supernatural horror film opened to a collection of ₹17.5 Cr. Over the course of the following days, the movie showed consistent numbers, ending its first weekend with a total of ₹50.39 Cr.

Which Film Came on Top This Weekend?

Baaghi 4 opened to strong numbers at the box office, maintained its strong position throughout the weekend. The Bengal Files, on the other hand, opened to an underwhelming response for a film mounted on a rumoured budget of ₹50 crore, only minting ₹6.65 crore in its first weekend. The undisputed box office winner this weekend was The Conjuring: Last Rites, managing to end its first weekend just shy of the ₹50 crore mark.

Lokah: Chapter 1 - Chandra Stays Strong on 11th Day

After 11 days of release, the Dulquer Salmaan-backed Lokah: Chapter 1 - Chandra still showed a strong performance at the box office. After nearly two weeks at the box office, the film still managed to pull ₹10.25 crore on its 2nd Sunday, taking Lokah's box office total to ₹82.6 crore. This beat the numbers of both Baaghi 4 and The Bengal Files.

Looking Forward to Baaghi 4 Box Office Collection

As the movies continue to spend time at the box office, their box office collection is something to look forward to. Will The Bengal Files pick up the pace and come close to the success of Agnihotri's The Kashmir Files? Baaghi 4 is also a release to watch out for as it shows promise with its box office numbers, but can it sustain these numbers?
