BLACKPINK—consisting of Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa—made history by becoming the first-ever K-pop girl group to headline London’s Wembley Stadium. Over two nights, nearly 78,000 fans filled the venue each day for back-to-back sold-out shows. With this achievement, the group joined the ranks of global legends such as Michael Jackson, Taylor Swift, BTS, and Oasis, who had previously performed at the iconic arena.

Lisa expressed her excitement, saying, “This is an absolute honour to be performing here at Wembley Stadium. We’re absolutely in awe of you guys for showing up and making this possible.”

Jennie called the moment “an epic dream”, while Rosé, holding back tears, told fans, “The last time we were here in London was insane, but this was a whole other level. We’re really grateful you stuck around and supported us.”

A Spectacle of Music and Visuals

The concert lasted two and a half hours, filled with fireworks, laser shows, and massive video screens that gave fans a closer look at each member. BLACKPINK performed their most popular hits, including Kill This Love, How You Like That, Pink Venom, Shut Down, Whistle, and DDU-DU DDU-DU.

In addition, the group unveiled their new single Jump, which quickly broke records by racking up 26 million YouTube views in just one day.

Fun Moments with Fans

The atmosphere was more than just music—it was filled with genuine moments. Fans went wild as the members laughed, joked, and interacted with the audience. At one point, Rosé stopped mid-song to tie her shoelace, sparking laughter from her bandmates. These candid interactions quickly spread across social media, creating viral highlights.

Even though each member has pursued solo projects—Lisa’s edgy rock style, Rosé’s soulful ballads, Jennie’s daring stage presence, and Jisoo’s powerful vocals—their on-stage chemistry as a group remained undeniable.

Part of a Record-Breaking Tour

The Wembley shows also marked the conclusion of the European leg of their Deadline World Tour, which includes 31 concerts across 16 cities. Their upcoming stops in 2026 include Taiwan, Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines, Singapore, Japan, and Hong Kong.

BLACKPINK have already made history as the first female K-pop group to sell over one million albums. They also hold the record for the highest-grossing tour by a female group, surpassing the Spice Girls’ Born Pink tour.

Hints of a New Album

Adding to the excitement, there are reports that the group may release a new mini album in November 2025. A source from the South Korean music industry revealed that BLACKPINK have already completed their album photoshoot and are expected to finish recording within the next two months.

However, their agency YG Entertainment has kept fans guessing. The company has neither confirmed nor denied the news, only saying that updates will be shared later.
