Allu Arjun's grandmother and the mother of movie producer Allu Aravind, Allu Kanakaratnam, has passed on at the age of 94. According to reports online, the mortal remains have reached Allu Aravind's residence, with the last rites to take place in Kokapet.
Allu Kanakaratnam, grandmother of popular actor Allu Arjun, passed in the early hours of Saturday, 30th August at 1:45 AM due to age-related complications, according to India Today.
Following this news, a video of the actor leaving Mumbai to head back to Hyderabad also surfaced online.
Ram Charan, cousin of Allu Arjun, also cancelled shooting for his upcoming movie Peddi to be at Allu Arjun's Grandmother's last rites.

Allu Kanakaratnam was the wife of popular actor and Padma Shri awardee Allu Ramalingaiah. The news of her demise was a heartbreak for the Telugu film industry. Upon her death, many notable faces showed up at Allu Aravind's home to pay their condolences.
Her son-in-law and popular actor Chiranjeevi also shared an emotional post on his X (formerly Twitter) account.
"Our mother-in-law.. The demise of Kanakarathnamma Garu, wife of Sri Allu Ramalingayya Garu, is extremely heartbreaking. The love, courage, and life values she showed to our families will forever be an inspiration to us. I pray to God that their sacred soul attains peace. Om Shanti," he wrote in his post.
A video outside of Aravind's home showed Deputy CM Pawankalyan's wife visiting to pay condolences to Allu Arjun's grandmother.
Allu Arjun was also recorded arriving home to attend his grandmother's last rites after cancelling a shoot in Mumbai.
Other actors who came to pay condolences are Venkatesh Daggubati and Nagachaitanya.
