In a closely contested election held at 96 booths across Rajasthan, Ghanshyam Sharma (Panwar) emerged victorious in the race for the State President of Akhil Bhartiya Jangid Brahmin (ABJB) Mahasabha, Pradesh Sabha, Rajasthan. The election, which witnessed the participation of 50,751 voters, saw 22,582 individuals exercising their right to vote.
Ghanshyam Sharma secured a triumphant victory by defeating his nearest rival, Harishankar Jangid, with a margin of 1093 votes. Out of the five candidates in the fray, Gajanand Jangid garnered 99 votes, Ghanshyam Sharma Panwar secured 11,611 votes, Harishankar Jangid received 10,518 votes, Nandlal Jangid got 66 votes, and Rohitash Jangid earned 44 votes. A total of 244 votes were rejected during the counting process.
The election results were officially declared at the state assembly building in the presence of outgoing state president Sanjay Harshwal, nodal officer Sanwarmal Jangid, election coordinator Kailash Sharma Saliwale, Manohar Lal Sharma, and other election board officials. Chief election in-charge Praveen Sharma officiated the declaration, awarding Ghanshyam Sharma (Panwar) the prestigious post. The oath of office was administered, and Ghanshyam Sharma was presented with the election certificate, marking the beginning of his tenure as the newly elected State President.
