In connection with making fake Aadhar Cards and PAN Cards, one of the gangs was busted by Goregoan police. Police have arrested one accused from the Goregoan area on Wednesday.
The arrested accused has been identified as Shyam Narayan Mishra.
Meanwhile, more than 30 fake Aadhar cards and PAN cards have been seized by Mumbai’s Goregoan police from the accused.
According to the police, without documents, the gang used to make fake Aadhar cards and PAN cards.
The gang used to charge Rs 1100 for Aadhar card making and Rs 500 for a Pan card.
Moreover, the police had seized bogus documents, a printer, computers and other things from the accused’s office. With one name, 6 Aadhar cards and PAN cards were found.
However, in the Prem Nagar area of Goregoan, the accused’s office was located.
Based on the information, the police got to know that Mishra was involved in making fake documents by charging people money for taking any documents.
“A dummy customer was sent to make an Aadhar card, the accused took Rs 1000 from him. At that time, the investigation team of Goregoan police laid a trap and raided the accused Mishra’s center from where bogus PAN cards of more than 30 different names were seized,” police said.
