Rohit Sharma’s ‘Men in Blue’ finished the league stage as the table-toppers with an outstanding 18 points and a net run rate of +2.570, riding high on a nine-match undefeated streak.

India’s exceptional journey in the tournament included victories against formidable opponents like Australia, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Bangladesh, England, Sri Lanka, South Africa, and the Netherlands. The team sealed their league round with a dominating 160-run win over the Netherlands, maintaining a flawless record in the ongoing World Cup.

In terms of player statistics against New Zealand in ODIs, Virat Kohli leads the pack with 1528 runs in 30 matches, followed by Rohit Sharma with 935 runs in 28 games. Youngster Shubman Gill holds the third spot with 510 runs in nine matches, while Shreyas Iyer and Ravindra Jadeja secure the fourth and fifth positions with 379 and 361 runs, respectively.
