In this day and age, people often hear about young individuals succumbing to minor issues and falling into despair, sometimes even resorting to taking their own lives due to the pressures they face in big educational institutions and coaching centres. For such youngsters, there is hope in the form of Kamla Meghwal, a 25-year-old differently-abled woman from the village of Amarsar who faced immense challenges but never gave up.
Her journey is a testament to the fact that even in the face of adversity, determination can lead to success. Kamla was studying in the eighth grade when a life-altering incident occurred. Her hands were severely injured in an accident, however, Kamla never let her spirit waver. She continued to persevere, and today, she has become a government school teacher, achieving success against all odds.
Kamla’s determination led her to overcome the obstacles. She said, “I began my studies in classes 11 and 12 in our ancestral village of Gogasar. A few families, including my grandparents, reside in this village. I pursued my B.A. from Mittal College, Sardarshahar, and then completed my B.Sc. from Bikaner district’s Nal. Currently, I am pursuing my M.A. first year at Mittal College.”
Kamla’s story serves as a beacon of hope for all those facing adversity. She has proven that with unwavering determination and hard work, one can achieve success, no matter the challenges they face. Local legislator Anil Sharma honoured Kamla Meghwal at his residence, acknowledging her remarkable achievement.
