Four individuals lost their lives, and one sustained severe injuries in a collision between a truck and a car on the Jammu-Jalandhar National State Highway in Hoshiarpur, Punjab. The collision resulted in the car catching fire, and the truck overturning. Prompt action by the police and bystanders facilitated the injured’s transport to the government hospital in Dasuha. Due to their critical condition, they were later referred to Amritsar Medical College. A local resident who reported the incident mentioned, “There were four dead bodies. The car was run on CNG because of which it caught fire.” A doctor at the government hospital in Dasuha noted, “The truck driver has been referred to the government hospital at Amritsar due to the seriousness of the situation.” An ongoing investigation is being conducted by the police to gather further details.
