Let’s take a look at how to make ‘Roti Tacos’ from overnight chapatis.
Ingredients:
- 3–4 leftover rotis/chapatis
- 1 cup cooked filling (chicken, paneer, rajma, or chole)
- ½ cup chopped onions
- ½ cup chopped tomatoes
- ½ cup shredded lettuce or cabbage
- ½ cup grated cheese
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise, hung curd, or sour cream
- 1 tsp chili flakes
- 1 tsp chaat masala
- Fresh coriander leaves
- Oil or butter
Method:
Step 1: Heat the rotis in a pan with butter or oil of your choice until they are crisp but still flexible.
Step 2: Add your choice of filling with your onions, tomatoes, chilli flakes, and chat masala and mix well.
Step 3: Fold the rotis in the shape of a taco and spread mayonnaise.
Step 4: Add the filling inside the taco.
Step 5: Add coriander, lettuce, or cabbage as toppings.
Step 6: Serve with warm chutney, salsa, or sauce of your choice. Enjoy!
