NEW DELHI: If you’ve spent any time at 32nd Avenue in Gurgaon, you’ve probably seen the crowds hovering around Melt House. Now, that same team has brought their spin-off project, Butterhands, to Select Citywalk in Saket, and they aren’t being shy about their goals. They’ve landed in Delhi with a bold claim: they’re serving the “greatest cookies in the world.”

To check if these are really the greatest cookies, we visited this flagship spot to devour some of their offerings and trust us, we were not disappointed! They aren’t just selling biscuits; they’re selling 130-gram heavyweights that feel more like a decadent meal than a dessert. We skipped the light stuff and went straight for the heavy hitters to see if the hype was real.

We tried their Salty Nutella Drip ft. Walnuts. This is the one you’ll see all over Instagram. It’s messy in the best way possible. The sea salt is the real hero here as it keeps the Nutella from being cloying, and the toasted walnuts add a much-needed earthy crunch to the molten center. For those who usually find white chocolate too sweet, Caramelized White Choc & Berries Riot might change your mind. The caramelization gives it a deeper, toasted flavor, and the tartness from the berries cuts through the butter beautifully. For those who love that nutty texture, Dark Choc & Peanut Butter Smashis non-negotiable. The dark chocolate is high-quality and bitter enough to stand up to the salty, creamy PB filling.

To wash all the sweetness down, we went with their signature Hot Chocolate. It’s thick, velvety, and exactly what you want on a chilly Delhi January afternoon! If you’re heading to Butterhands for the first time, their debut “must-try” menu is pretty extensive. Beyond what we tasted, the line-up includes the Vegan Coconut Frenzy, the Oreo Velvet Drip, the Banoffee Caramel Anarchy, and the Hot Choc Marsh Melt Cookie. They have also brought over some Melt House beverage legends to pair with the sugar rush. You can grab an iced Chocolate with Malt Cream, one of their malted milkshakes, or a cup of their curated coffee if you need a caffeine hit to balance out the butter.

The ButterHands outlet itself feels very “New York meets New Delhi.” It’s polished and modern, leaning into that Gen-Z aesthetic where the branding is just as important as the product. Founder Rohit Beniwal and Head Chef Mansshika Kapoor have clearly spent a lot of time on the “rigour testing,” ensuring every cookie has that specific contrast of a crisp outer shell and a center that’s almost doughy.

The tagline, “There’s no such thing as too much butter, or too much branding,” pretty much sums up our cookie-tasting experience. If you are heading to Saket, make sure you must visit ButterHands for that chocolatey indulgence and experience!
