METHOD OF PREPARATION
1 Clean, wash and drain Amaranth Saag, roughly chop and keep aside.
2 Fine chop Ginger, Garlic and Green Chilies.
3 Heat Oil, Add Cumin Seeds, Hing and let it crackle, then add chopped Ginger, Garlic & Green Chili.
4 Add Red Chili Powder and cook for 2 min. Add Fresh Amaranth Leaves and Mix properly. Cover the pot, keep lid on top and pour water on the lid to provide some moisture. Cook on slow flame until saag is done.
5 For Bhakri – Mix Jawar flour with salt and water. Knead the dough properly.
6 Divide into small balls, and roll in small bhakris applying flour.
7 Roast on hot gridle, applying water from one side and then roast on direct fire from the other side.
8 Serve hot with saag
