Due to bad weather in Jammu and Kashmir’s Srinagar, all flights have been canceled on Friday from Srinagar Airport.
Taking to Twitter official Twitter handle of Srinagar airport tweeted, “All flights for today at our airport have been canceled due to continuous bad weather.”
Meanwhile, the passengers of the canceled flights will be accommodated on the next available flight at no extra cost, said airport officials.
“The passengers of the canceled flights shall be accommodated by the respective Airlines in the next available flight at no extra cost,” reads the tweet.
Moreover, over parts of Punjab, Northwest Rajasthan, Jammu division, Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Tripura dense to very dense fog was observed.
However, IMD has predicted that on 14 January there will be dense to very dense fog in some parts of Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, and Delhi; in isolated pockets over Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. The dense fog will be over the states of the Jammu division, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Odisha.
