The first group of 970 elderly pilgrims from across the state including Jaipur left from Khatipura railway station on Thursday evening for the darshan of Lord Ramlala in Ayodhya. Devasthan Minister Jora Ram Kumawat flagged off the train. Earlier, Minister Kumawat thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and State Chief Minister Bhajan Lal for arranging this train to provide free travel to Ayodhya to Ram devotees.
Kumawat said that after a long wait and movement of five hundred years, the court’s decision came in favour of the construction of the temple. He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the consecration of Ram Temple was possible in a short period of two and a half years. This is a matter of pride for all of us. Thanking the officials of the Devasthan Department, the Minister said that they made smooth arrangements for the pilgrims to travel to Ayodhya on time.
