Shri Krishna Janmashtami Mahotsav 2024 poised to be celebrated with unparalleled grandeur and spiritual elegance is being showcased by Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan (DJJS), founded and headed by Divya Guru Ashutosh Maharaj. This year’s theme, “Darshan Itihaas Ka, Parivartan Aaj Ka”, reflects the organization’s commitment to integrating the timeless teachings of Lord Krishna with the pressing needs of the modern world. The celebration will take place on the 25th and 26th of August 2024 at the DDA Ground, Dwarka.
Sadhvi Tapeshwari Bharti, Spokesperson of DJJS, highlighted the alarming rise in atrocities against women, Sadhvi said, ‘Confronting such violence against women, religious animosity and other issues like environmental degradation, this year DJJS has announced that their Janmashtami event will commence with the Vedic Chants by hundreds of DJJS’ ved-pathis to foster peace and harmony. Even the theme of this Janmashtami i.e., Darshan Itihas Ka, Parivartan Aaj Ka has been decided to tackle such current social issues & their solutions through the lens of Lord Krishna’s Leelas, Ethics and Bhagavad Gita. One such notable dance performance will focus on the revolutionary spirit of Meerabai, aiming to awaken & inspire modern-day women. Other key performances will include dramatic interpretations of the Slaying of Tyrant Ruler Kansa, Virat Roop Darshan of Lord Krishna, Slaying of Kaliya Snake, Paundraka-The Fake Lord Krishna etc.’
The event will be honored by the presence of Dr Jitender Singh, Union MOS for Science & Technology and India’s Pride & Olympic 2024 Double Medalist in Shooting- Manu Bhaker.
‘Another key feature of the celebration is the focus on Environmental Conservation through the Govardhan Mountain 3D Model. This large, technologically advanced 3D installation will serve as the event’s centerpiece, symbolizing the eternal message of Lord Krishna’s Govardhan Leela.
