Statistics from the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) paint a clear picture: India’s elderly population is projected to account for a staggering 17% of the global senior citizen population by 2050, reaching a massive 347 million individuals. This figure is expected to surpass the number of children aged 0 to 15 years by 2046.
