Fashion influencer and entrepreneur Aishwarya Bansal made headlines with a unique proposal to her partner Amulya mid-flight. Bansal’s Instagram reel, capturing the romantic gesture, has gone viral with over seven million views.
“I just proposed in the air ✈️❤️🧿✨,” Bansal wrote in her reel’s caption. The idea came to her spontaneously, and despite initial uncertainties about whether the airline crew would approve, everything aligned perfectly. The proposal took place on an Indigo flight, with the crew and Bansal’s friends helping set up the surprise.
The video starts with Amulya boarding the plane, with overlay text reading, “He doesn’t have any clue what is going to happen next.” Bansal then walks down the aisle and, with a crew member announcing, “Ladies and gentlemen, we have a special announcement for a special couple on board,” she proposes to Amulya and places a ring on his finger. The text overlays, “And he said yes, of course.”
The crew also celebrated the moment by sending dessert and a congratulatory card to the couple, wishing them “hundreds of adventures together.”
