“Sanyukt Kisan Morcha” has decided to march towards Delhi from five different routes on November 26 against the centre’s new agriculture laws and proposed electricity bill. The decision to this effect was taken at a meeting of the core committee of the morcha held on Thursday.

Farmers will march towards Delhi through the Amritsar-Delhi national highway (Kundli border), Hisar-Delhi highway (Bahadurgarh), Jaipur-Delhi highway (Dharuhera), Bareilly-Delhi highway (Hapur), and Agra-Delhi highway (Ballabhgarh).

The farmer leaders shared this information with the media after the meeting, hoping that they will have a chance to raise their voices in the national capital. However, if they are stopped anywhere, they will sit at the same place and start a peaceful protest, the leaders informed.

The leaders of the organization, including Yogendra Yadav, Balbir Singh Rajewal, Gurnam Singh Chadhuni, said that due to the lack of availability of trains and buses, farmers will take their tractor trolleys and travel towards Delhi.

Representatives of the National Farmers Federation, Bharatiya Kisan Union (Chadhuni), Bharatiya Kisan Union (Rajewal) and All India Kisan Sangharsh Coordination Committee were also present on the occasion. The coordination committee of 30 farmer organizations of Punjab has already announced to participate in this programme.

The leaders also said that goods trains should be started in Punjab immediately.
