The FA Cup, the world’s oldest football competition, is returning to keep spectators on the edge of their seats for what looks to be an exciting semifinal round.

The upcoming semi-final fixtures of the FA Cup are set to showcase a clash of heavyweights and underdogs at Wembley Stadium. The reigning champions, Manchester City FC, will face London giants Chelsea FC, while Championship side Coventry City will take on Manchester United in what promises to be an exciting lineup of matches.

Manchester City, the current title-holders, secured their spot in the semi-finals with a dominant performance against Newcastle United. Led by Portuguese midfielder Bernardo Silva, City’s unstoppable form includes a remarkable 27-game unbeaten streak across all competitions.

Chelsea FC, on the other hand, overcame Leicester City in a thrilling quarter-final encounter, with late goals from substitutes Carney Chukwuemeka and Noni Madueke securing their place in the semis. Attacking sensation Cole Palmer will be a key player to watch for Chelsea, having been instrumental with 23 goals and 13 assists this season.

Coventry City, the only non-Premier League team left in the competition, are seen as underdogs but have shown their resilience by defeating Wolves in the quarter-finals. Their striker Ellis Simms has been in fine form, scoring crucial goals in recent matches.

Manchester United, with their rich history in the FA Cup, are determined to lift the trophy again after their last win in 2016. They secured their spot in the semis with a thrilling victory over Liverpool, thanks to a late goal from Amad Diallo.

The football world eagerly anticipates these exciting matches, which will feature top superstars showcasing their talent on the grand stage of Wembley Stadium. Fans can catch all the action live on Sony Sports Network and stream it on Sony LIV in India from 9:15 PM onwards on Saturday.
