Assembly Elections 2023: The exit poll results for the state assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Telangana, Chhattisgarh, and Mizoram are scheduled to be declared after 5:30 pm on Thursday. These exit polls are crucial indicators of the possible outcomes of the assembly elections, providing insights into the level of support for political parties and their candidates.

Exit polls are surveys conducted immediately after people have cast their votes, aiming to gauge the preferences of voters for different candidates and parties. The voting in these states took place between November 7 and November 30, with results scheduled to be announced on Sunday, December 3.

The Election Commission of India (EC) had initially prohibited the announcement of exit poll results until November 30, as per a notification issued in October. However, the EC has now allowed the release of exit poll results after 5:30 pm on November 30, modifying its earlier directive.

These state assembly elections hold significant importance as they precede the Lok Sabha elections scheduled for April-May the following year. The exit poll results will offer insights into the political landscape and potential outcomes in these states.
