Ukraine: Russian Missile Hits Postal Depot in Odesa; 14 Injured

A Russian ballistic missile struck a postal depot in Odesa, Ukraine, injuring 14 people and causing a significant fire, according to Regional Governor Oleh Kiper. This attack marked the third missile strike on the city in three consecutive days. Kiper, communicating through the Telegram messaging app, noted that one of the injured individuals required hospitalization.

Volodymyr Popereshniuk, the head of the Nova Poshta postal and courier company, stated on Facebook that all 18 employees on duty managed to reach a bomb shelter before the missile hit a loading area of the depot, ensuring their safety.

Odesa has been a frequent target of Russian attacks, with missiles hitting various sites in the city in recent days, resulting in eight fatalities. The city’s port infrastructure has been particularly singled out in many of these attacks since Russia began its invasion in February 2022.
