UAE provides aid packages for children and women in Gaza

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has delivered aid packages designed for children and women in Gaza as part of its ongoing humanitarian assistance for the Palestinian people under ‘Operation Chivalrous Knight 3.’

Hamoud Abdullah Al Junaibi, Secretary-General of the Emirates Red Crescent (ERC), highlighted the efforts within “Operation Chivalrous Knight 3” to prepare aid packages specifically tailored to meet the needs of children and women.

These aid packages are an essential part of the daily humanitarian relief efforts and food aid sent to the Gaza Strip, particularly focusing on the northern region.

In an interview with the Emirates News Agency (WAM), Al Junaibi stated, “The distribution of these food baskets is part of the comprehensive relief efforts initiated by the UAE to provide humanitarian assistance to Gaza. This is done either through airdrop operations or through UAE aid convoys entering through the Rafah Border Crossing.”

Al Junaibi reaffirmed the UAE’s commitment to supporting all Palestinians, especially women and children, by providing essential relief and food supplies. He emphasized that these specialized aid packages are provided alongside comprehensive relief efforts that encompass a wide range of essential items.

The substantial contributions to Gaza demonstrate the UAE leadership’s directive to stand in solidarity with the Palestinian people during this challenging period, showcasing its global leadership in humanitarian endeavors.

Al Junaibi mentioned that plans are in place to provide Eid clothing to the citizens of Gaza, highlighting that the ERC and all relevant state institutions are working closely to continuously provide the necessary humanitarian support to the Palestinian people.
