According to the clinic’s staff, the situation unfolded when Emir, a staff member, noticed a dog standing outside the door of the clinic. Upon closer inspection, he saw the mother had carefully placed her unconscious puppy on the ground. At first, the staff was unsure of the puppy’s condition.

Veterinarian Batural Dogan shared his initial reaction: “At first, we couldn’t understand the situation because it was so unusual. A dog coming with a puppy in its mouth, dropping it on the ground—it was hard to tell if the puppy was alive.”
However, after further examination, Dogan and his team discovered the puppy’s heart was faintly beating. “The heart was beating so slowly, I couldn’t hear it with my stethoscope. But when I checked with a needle, we realized there was hope,” Dogan said. This discovery gave them the chance to administer immediate care and bring the puppy back to life.
