The Israeli Army recovered three hostages’ bodies from a Gaza tunnel. They were abducted from a music festival. Hamas held them captive after an October attack, IDF stated. IDF spokesperson Rear Adm Daniel Hagari identified the hostages as Shani Louk, Amit Bouskila, and Itshak Gelernter.

“Last night, the IDF rescued the bodies of our hostages,” said military spokesman Daniel Hagari. He confirmed they were killed at the Nova music festival and taken into Gaza. “They were celebrating life… and were murdered by Hamas,” he added.

Thousands gathered for the festival at Re’im kibbutz near the Gaza border when Hamas attacked, holding hundreds hostage. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed to bring back all hostages, praising the military operation and soldiers’ bravery. Netanyahu expressed sorrow for the loss and his determination to bring all hostages home.

Hamas launched attacks on Israel on October 7, resulting in numerous casualties and abductions. The Hostages Families Forum urged swift action to bring back all captives, following the recovery of the bodies.
