The Israeli embassy in India officially confirmed the death of an Indian national and injuries to two others in a Hezbollah terror attack along the Israel-Lebanon border. The deceased, identified as 31-year-old Nibin Maxwell from Kerala, had been working on an Israeli farm for two months.

The embassy expressed deep sorrow over the incident, attributing it to a cowardly terror attack by Hezbollah on peaceful agriculture workers in the village of Margaliot. The injured individuals, also from Kerala, are receiving treatment in Israeli medical institutions. The embassy pledged support to the affected families and emphasized unity in facing civilian loss.

Simultaneously, the Times of Israel reported that Hezbollah launched a rocket barrage at northern Israel, causing damage and power outages. The Israel Defence Forces responded with strikes in Lebanon following the cross-border attack.

In Gaza, the Israeli Defence Forces reported the elimination of Islamic Jihad terrorists firing rockets, with fifteen terrorists neutralized through sniper, tank, and aerial fire. IDF forces also targeted terrorist locations within civilian areas in Western Khan Yunis.
