Dubai International Airport (DXB) has announced temporary flight restrictions in response to the significant travel delays caused by recent unprecedented weather conditions in the UAE. The airport management, under Dubai Airports, is actively working to support passengers impacted by these disruptions.
Effective from 12:00 PM on April 19, DXB will limit the number of arrival flights for a duration of 48 hours. However, departures will continue to operate as scheduled during this period.
The decision to implement temporary restrictions aims to assist in the effective recovery of operations, considering the ongoing challenges posed by adverse weather conditions. DXB remains committed to minimizing inconvenience for travelers while ensuring safety and efficiency in air travel.
Passengers are advised to stay informed about their flight status directly through their respective airlines and to make necessary adjustments to their travel plans accordingly. Dubai Airports reassures the public that efforts are underway to restore normal operations swiftly and alleviate the impact of the disruptions on passenger travel.
