Britney Spears Deletes Her Instagram Account Amid ‘Mental Health and Financial Issues’

Following the resolution of a legal dispute with her father, Britney Spears expressed feelings of injustice and subsequently deleted her Instagram account. This unexpected action from the singer came after she publicly criticized her family on the platform.

Reportedly, she is deeply upset about the outcome of the legal settlement with her father. Britney, who used to share regular updates about her life with her fans on Instagram, has now removed herself from the platform.

According to sources cited by TMZ, some of Britney’s friends have described her as “completely dysfunctional” and facing challenging financial and mental circumstances. Insiders claim that the 41-year-old singer has been isolating herself and exhibiting extreme mood swings.

Close aides of Britney even suggest that she was better off under the conservatorship overseen by her father Jamie Spears, which ended in 2021. They believe that the restrictions in place during the conservatorship were meant to protect her, and now she lacks that protection.

Despite settling her year-long legal battle with her father, Britney is reportedly facing financial difficulties, including having to cover her father’s $2 million legal fees and spending $4 million on her own attorney.

As for her return to the music industry, Britney has made it clear that it’s not a priority for her, despite her past successes. In a poignant Instagram statement, she stated, “I will never return to the music industry.”

In a recent emotional post, Britney shared her frustrations and feelings of injustice, recounting her troubled childhood and lamenting the loss of her home in Louisiana. This comes after her testimony in June 2021, where she accused her father of “abusive” treatment and financial misconduct during her conservatorship.
