The BAPS Hindu Temple in Abu Dhabi, officially inaugurated by PM Modi last month, has opened for the public today. The temple authorities have issued a series of guidelines for the public, regarding the dress code.

The guidelines read, “Cover the area of the body between the neck, the elbow, and the ankles. Caps, t-shirts, and other clothing articles with offensive designs are not allowed. Do not wear translucent or tight-fitting clothing. Avoid clothing articles and accessories that make distracting notices or reflections.”

Outside food and drinks are not allowed. Along with this, the entry of pets is banned within the temple premises, usage of drones is banned too.

The temple is built at a cost of around Rs 700 crore on a 27-acre site in Abu Mureikhah, near Al Rahab of the Dubai-Abu Dhabi Sheikh Sayed Highway.

A post on X (formerly known as Twitter) read, “The wait is over! #AbuDhabiMandir is now open for all visitors and worshipers.”
