In response to Rupali’s ₹50 crore defamation notice, Esha took to Instagram Stories, describing the notice as “disturbing and cruel.” She also criticized her father, Ashwin Verma, while stating she never involved her half-brother Rudransh inappropriately. She announced this would be her final statement on the matter.
Esha explained that speaking up about her father and stepmother was a tough decision but a necessary one. She called it a turning point in her life, bringing clarity and freedom after years of silence. She wrote, “Speaking up was the hardest thing I’ve ever done, but it brought peace and liberation.”
Esha revealed she felt trapped for 24 years and sharing her story was a step toward justice and self-liberation. She emphasized that her goal was never to harm anyone but to highlight the challenges she faced. She said, “I wanted to shed light on family struggles and give a voice to those facing similar challenges.”
In her statement, Esha criticized Rupali Ganguly and her father, calling their reactions hurtful. She stated, “A child should not be punished for speaking their truth. I am still my father’s child, and their actions deeply hurt me.”
Esha recalled facing criticism about her appearance during a 2017 photoshoot in Mumbai. She revealed that these remarks affected her self-esteem but helped her grow stronger. She encouraged others to embrace their individuality, adding, “Celebrate the traits passed down through generations. They make us who we are.”
Esha addressed the controversy surrounding her half-brother Rudransh, emphasizing that she never involved him directly. She said, “What I shared was factual about their marriage and child. Media misinterpretations were beyond my control.”
