Anjali, born in Mumbai and hailing from Kutch, Gujarat, has been garnering attention for her unique fashion choices during the pre-wedding festivities.
Anjali, the eldest daughter of Encore Pharmaceuticals’ CEO Viren Merchant and Shaila Merchant, completed her education journey with a BSc in Entrepreneurship and Strategic Management from Babson College and an MBA from the London School of Business. Her adventurous spirit led her through a Semester at Sea program at the University of Virginia, spanning across various countries.

Professionally, Anjali has ventured into marketing roles, including internships at Publicis and Merck, and later serving as marketing manager at Encore Healthcare. Her entrepreneurial ventures include Turn the Campus and the high-end hair club, Dryfix.
On the personal front, Anjali married Aman Majithia, founder of Vataly India, in 2020, and the couple welcomed a son soon after.
