Allu Arjun has been arrested on Friday for an unfortunate incident that occurred during the premier of Pushpa 2: The Rule in Hyderabad, in which a woman lost her life. Some fans questioned his arrest; others said it might be done for publicity. Amid this reaction, Varun Dhawan stood up to the defense of the actor.
Varun, who is promoting his upcoming film Baby John in Jaipur, spoke about the stampede incident. In a video captured by a paparazzo, he said, “There are safety protocols. An actor cannot take everything upon himself. We can tell people around us. Like I can talk about today. Cinepolis has done a great arrangement here, and we are thankful to them for that.”
