Shah Rukh Khan reprises his role as Mufasa in the upcoming “Mufasa: The Lion King,” a prequel to the 2019 remake of the classic animated film. Shah Rukh voices the titular role in this photorealistic animated musical-drama. Joining him are his sons, Aryan Khan and AbRam Khan, who lend their voices to Simba and Young Mufasa, respectively, in the Hindi dubbed version.

The trailer introduces Rafiki, along with Pumbaa and Timon, as they narrate Mufasa’s legend to young Kiara, Simba and Nala’s daughter. Shreyas Talpade and Sanjay Mishra voice Timon and Pumbaa. The promo highlights how an orphaned Mufasa is saved by the lion cub Daka, later known as Scar. It delves into Mufasa’s bond with Daka and how he finds acceptance in his family. The trailer culminates with both brothers uniting against a rival clan in a battle for the throne.

Fans are thrilled about this collaboration.
