San Diego, July 26, 2024 – Fans at Comic-Con International were in for a thrilling surprise when Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, alongside director Shawn Levy and Marvel chief Kevin Feige, hosted an unexpected screening of their eagerly awaited film, Deadpool & Wolverine. The surprise event, titled “The Ultimate Deadpool & Wolverine Celebration of Life,” took place in Hall H on July 25, just one day before the film’s official release.

The crowd erupted with excitement as Reynolds, Jackman, and Levy took the stage. Reynolds, who stars as Deadpool, expressed his nerves and appreciation, sharing his deep connection with the character and the fans. “I was incredibly nervous. It felt like a dream come true, and I’m grateful that everyone liked the film too. I feel like I connected with you in a way I had longed for,” Reynolds said.

Jackman, returning as Wolverine, described the backstage frenzy. “I was right there watching the footage when the crowd began chanting, ‘One more time, one more time.’ I ran backstage and told the stage manager, ‘If you don’t play the footage again, they’re going to tear Hall H apart,'” Jackman recounted. The audience’s enthusiasm led to an impromptu replay of the film, adding to the event’s excitement.

The screening was a star-studded affair, with notable appearances from Dafne Keen, Jennifer Garner, Channing Tatum, Wesley Snipes, and Chris Evans, all reprising their roles as iconic characters from the Fox universe. Reynolds and Jackman’s heartfelt moments with the crowd added a memorable touch to the event.

Deadpool & Wolverine officially premieres today, July 26, promising fans a high-energy cinematic experience filled with action, humor, and the dynamic chemistry of Reynolds and Jackman. For those who missed the Comic-Con excitement, the film is set to deliver an unforgettable experience on the big screen.
