Rebecca Ferguson’s ‘Silo’ Renewed For Two More Seasons

Apple TV+ announced on Monday that Rebecca Ferguson’s Silo has been renewed for two additional seasons, with the fourth season set to conclude the series, according to Deadline.

This extension will allow Executive Producer and Showrunner Graham Yost to fully adapt Hugh Howey’s New York Times bestselling dystopian trilogy.

Silo Season 2 is currently streaming globally, with new episodes releasing every Friday until January 17. The show explores the lives of the last 10,000 people on Earth, who reside in a mile-deep silo that shields them from the toxic and deadly world outside. However, the origins of the silo remain shrouded in mystery, and anyone attempting to uncover the truth faces fatal consequences.

Speaking about the continuation of the series, Yost shared his enthusiasm in a statement: “It has been a richly rewarding experience to adapt Hugh’s epic novels with our partners at Apple, and we are thrilled to have the opportunity to bring this complete story to the screen over the course of four seasons. With the final two chapters of Silo, we can’t wait to give fans of the show an incredibly satisfying conclusion to the many mysteries and unanswered questions contained within the walls of these silos.”

Rebecca Ferguson also expressed her excitement about the show’s journey. “I’ve loved every minute of bringing Juliette to the screen, and I am immensely proud of what we’ve all created with Silo since the first episode,” she said.

Silo Season 2 features an ensemble cast, including Tim Robbins, Common, series newcomer Steve Zahn, Harriet Walter, Chinaza Uche, Avi Nash, Alexandria Riley, Shane McRae, Remmie Milner, Billy Postlethwaite, Rick Gomez, Clare Perkins, Caitlin Zoz, Tanya Moodie, and Iain Glen.
